The Dominican Republic offers many activities and sites to discover.
Here are some suggestions:
You can spend your time in the water or underwater doing various water sports such as diving, snorkeling, kite surfing or wave riding. You can go deep-sea fishing and admire the magnificent coasts of the peninsula. There is also a sailing club.
There are many sites to see on and around the peninsula. For example, you can plan a day trip to El Limon Waterfall or travel by water taxi to the National Park "Los Haitises".
Every year, from mid-January to mid-March, hundreds of humpback whales come to the Samaná Bay to mate and raise their young in our warm waters. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to observe these magnificent animals up close.

With jeeps, quads, motorcycles, rental bikes, and of course your own two feet, you can visit diverse, beautiful beaches and the interior of the country.
Romantic excursions on horseback along the beaches are highly recommended.
There are several clubs in town where you can play tennis.
Fly over the jungle on the longest zip line in the Caribbean.




Several dance schools will introduce you to the hot rhythms of salsa, merengue and bachata. Every evening of the week, dance schools will host gatherings in different discotheques, so that even single travelers can find a dance partner.
If you are interested in fitness activities, you can participate in NIA and Tai Chi courses.
Need to relax? Why not book a few sessions of yoga or massage?



Start the evening off right with a small aperitif at sunset in one of the many beach bars.
Spend a beautiful evening in one of Las Terrenas’s many bars or nightclubs.
For gourmets, Las Terrenas has a lot to offer. In addition to the Dominican restaurants, there are many excellent international restaurants for a beachside lunch or a romantic dinner. You can choose between French, Italian, Spanish, Mexican, German and even Japanese cuisines.
