"La Escuelita de Christiane" is located in a tropical garden, in a quiet environment (see also "Location"). The lessons take place in a relaxed atmosphere, either inside the school building or on a large open terrace.

If you book private lessons, an "à la carte" program will be specially designed for you. The same goes for small groups, where lessons are always tailored to your needs and interests. (Please click on "Classes").

The school provides the teaching materials for each course. At the end, each student receives a certificate of participation.

The school works at different levels.

On one hand, the courses are aimed at travelling students from all over the world.

On the other hand, foreigners living in the Dominican Republic who wish to improve their linguistic knowledge for professional reasons can take courses in Spanish, English, French or German.

In addition, Dominicans, who are primarily active in tourism or want to improve communication in their personal relationships, also take courses in the language of their choice.

Finally, language tutoring is offered to schoolchildren and university students.

The school cooperates with very warm host families, who will naturally integrate the students into their family life and immerse them totally in the Dominican culture. For more information, see “Accommodation”.

Christiane, the founder and lead teacher of the school, has more than 30 years of experience teaching language classes in the Dominican Republic.
